Buyers are especially keen to view properties in rural locations, away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities which also have room for remote working and benefit from larger gardens, either for entertaining or for home expansion.
Autumn traditionally sees an increase in the number of properties coming to the market as sellers hope to secure a move before Christmas and this should ease some of the supply and demand issues seen over the last six months.
But it won’t just be the early bird catching the worm in this strong property market, says Chris. He predicts it will be the purchaser with the greatest buying power who will succeed. Smart buyers are entering into negotiations having already secured a sale subject to contract on their own property, or even have no need to sell at all, making their offers very attractive to sellers looking to secure a sale.
