Deb celebrates 20 years with Alasdair Morrison Lettings
Everyone at Alasdair Morrison Lettings would like to congratulate Deb Simpson on her 20 year anniversary with the company!
Reflecting on her employment, Deb said: “I remember dropping my children off at primary school before I came into the office. Most everything was paper based back then and I clearly remember when we started using the internet - uploading property details, carrying out internet banking and offering video viewings to clients. Modern technology may have improved some things but I still love a good paper file for keeping things organised!
“If I could offer some advice to my younger self, I’d say ‘Expect the unexpected every day; you never know what’s coming!’. Luckily, I’ve always been very good at adapting to rapid changes,” says Deb.
Over the years, Deb has seen lots of changes in the estate agency and lettings market and her experience is highly valued. Her hard work was recognised with 2012 Employee of the Year at the Newark Business Awards. One constant throughout Deb’s career has been Alasdair, who she describes as a ‘good and fair’ boss. She’s also built up an amazing relationship with her team, with many fond memories being made over the years.
